We would like to welcome our newest team member to the Analog family. Adam Voigts is our new customer service and online sales manager. We wanted you to get to know Adam a little more so here is a quick interview with him to give everyone some insight into who Adam is. 1 – What is your name and where are you from?
Adam Voigts (pronounced Foes), born in Wisconsin but raised in Algonquin, IL
2 – What was your first motorcycle? Did you you like it?
My first bike was a 1973 Honda CB175 K7 and I loved it. I loved finally being able to have a bike. I had wanted one for so long, but came into riding fairly late, around age 25. I think this is one of the reasons I love small capacity bikes.
3 – What is your favorite place or type of riding and why?
I love racing, I ended up converting the 175 to be a 200GP AHRMA race bike. I loved being able to build up to finding the right lines and finding the corner speed so desperately needed on a small capacity bike. I crashed pretty hard at Barber this past year, so I will be taking a break from racing and I am now looking forward to a summer of riding in Southwest Wisconsin, lots of sweepers and beautiful farm country.

I started working at Ace Motorcycle and Scooter around 2011, then moved to dealerships in the Chicago area. First at BBK Motorsport in Elgin, then onto Motor Cycle Center in Villa Park. Overall almost 8 years in the industry.
6 – Do you work on your bikes?
I do what I can, carb rebuilds and the like, but definitely need guidance on some of the more intricate aspects.

7 – What was the last modification you did to a motorcycle?
I was getting point float on my 175 at Barber, so we took a spring from an old set of points and doubled up the springs and solved the issue. Now it revs well into the 11000 rpm range, just have to make sure I don’t keep it there. I think an electronic ignition is in my future, although the points are pretty simple to deal with.
8 – What do you most look forward to working at Analog Motorcycles?
I am really looking forward to helping the brand grow and maintain its already strong presence in the motorcycle community. Also, being able to be a friendly face at events and talking with the buyer and creating a face to face relationship that really counts.
9 – What is your favorite ice cream?
I love a good mint chocolate chip, but a salted caramel is always good.
